How many North Korean refugees live in South Korea?

As of March, 2016, 29,137 North Korean refugees came to South Korea for freedom and settled at South Korea.
71 percentage of North Korean refugees are women.

Why female refugees from North Korea more than male refugees?
I guess that the life of women is harder than that of men in North Korea.

Most of North Korean refugees live in the Capital of South Korea, Seoul and Kyunggi, close to Seoul.

Why?

I guess Seoul is the best place to find jobs.

A majority of North Korean refugees are from Hamyung Bukdo, that is close to China.
It is the coldest place in North Korea as it is located in the northern part of North Korea.

Why?

I guess they are lack in foods, compared to the other provinces in North Korea.

Most of North Korean refugees are between 20s and 40s.
Most of their jobs in North Korea are ordinary labors and soldiers.
