This is the first time since 2005 that South Korean artists performed in North Korea, and the first time for Kim Jong Un to such occasion.
As North Korea looks forward to the summit with South Korea, local residents ignite hope of reunification. According to sources, many discussions regarding the summit are being made recently in workplaces and among families in Pyongyang. Many North Koreans dream about unification coming true after the joint summit, to the extent that "cannot sleep at night".
Some North Korean students hope that reunification can lead to freedom from conscription (obligatory military service). One student even puts visiting South Korea as 1st priority after reunification, although mentioning this being a taboo in schools.
The joint summit of 2 Koreas will be held in late April, at "Peace House" of southern Panmunjom. Kim Jong Un will become the 1st NK supreme leader to visit South Korea.
