Some background on how Korea came to be divided

For anyone interested in some background on how Korea came to be divided, here is an interesting interview with James Perloff by James Corbett of the Corbett report.

It's all geopolitical and of course governments do not consider or care about the effects these decisions have on the average person and as we know, it turned out disastrous for North Koreans.

some more interesting history about North Korean gulags in old soviet Russia.
this article is dated waaay back to 1994.

this article by James Perloff goes in to more detail about the geopolitics of how the Korean war was crafted and the united nations role.
it's heavy reading but you can see there was a much bigger agenda in mind.
