Seoul Train Movie

It is a short documentary on the plight of North Koreans produced by Incite Productions who concentrate on human rights issues.
i couldn't find the full version on youtube so i purchased a copy and wasn't dissapointed.

here is a trailer of the movie...

anyway, on their site is a good bit of information.
under the tab "The Crisis" there is a piece on the Office of the UNHCR and another one under the heading "the Role of UN Member States".

it criticizes the fact that the office of the UNHCR has done nothing for the plight of the North Korean people and if you go to the UNHCR site and look under the tab "Emergencies" you'll see europe, sudan, syria, iraq, etc but no North Korea.

Really!?
North Korea is absolutely a humanitarian emergency but is being ignored. why?
on the face of it, all i can surmise is that the member countries are afraid of offending china more than likely for economic reasons.
what is going on here..
