Interesting short documentary on the unification debate

The one thing that comes up all the time is that North Koreans in the south say they feel unwelcome but there is some interesting information in this report.
It seems the South Korean government is very afraid of a sudden collapse of the north regime because they think it would create a massive influx of refugees from the north which they would have a hard time managing.

So China wants a buffer and South Korea is afraid of the sudden collapse of the regime.
there is the answer then. they are ok with thousands rotting in gulags as long as China gets its stability on its eastern border and South Korea is afraid of the huge cost
